In this position, you will collaborate with various teams across the facility, utilizing your skills in operating forklifts to optimize warehouse organization, inventory control, and the timely dispatch of products.

Your Work:

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment for the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods.
  • Ensure accurate placement and arrangement of inventory in designated warehouse locations according to established procedures.
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to enhance operational efficiency, safety protocols, and the effective use of equipment.
  • Conduct regular checks on inventory and assist in maintaining precise stock records and reports.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or operational issues, contributing to timely resolutions.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure work area in compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Facilitate the smooth processing of incoming and outgoing shipments while adhering to relevant guidelines.
  • Perform other warehouse-related tasks as needed.

Warehouse Operations Advancement Program:

The Warehouse Operations Advancement Program offers an opportunity to develop expertise in various aspects of warehouse management over an 18-month period. Through different rotations, participants will gain practical knowledge in key areas:

  • A rotation focused on the intricacies of inventory management and the effective handling of diverse materials.
  • A rotation centered on enhancing operational efficiency, including logistics coordination and distribution strategies.
  • A rotation emphasizing warehouse technology, encompassing automated systems and data management tools.
  • Successful completion of the program will lead to a full-time Forklift Operator role with significant involvement in daily warehouse functions.

Compensation

The anticipated annual compensation for this Forklift Operator position is $50,000. This figure may be adjusted based on the specific work location and the candidate's qualifications. Cargill also provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being of its employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States.

  • Demonstrable experience in warehouse operations, inventory handling, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in the safe and effective operation of forklift equipment.
